To request a 0800 number, you must use it for business purposes. It is not possible to request a 0800 number for personal use, because these numbers are intended to allow customers to contact companies for free.
In the numbering plan there are short and long information numbers. A short number has 4 digits after the prefix, for example 0800-4030, and a long number 7 digits, such as 0800-4000400. Short numbers are limited in availability. According to PTS, they may only be issued to organizations that expect more than 2,000 minutes per month. They are therefore mainly used for radio, TV and emergency services. If you want to request a short number, please contact us.
